The numerous dirt roads, paths and mule tracks criss-crossing the Monte Cesen area are perfect for interesting walks and hikes of various levels of difficulty and elevation gain. Many of the paths link the provinces of Belluno and Treviso. A prominent part is played by the TV1 path, which goes past the Malga Mariech agritourism establishment and joins together two important mountain areas: Grappa and Cansiglio. The Monte Cesen area is a Regional Nature Reserve. The distinctive environmental features provide an opportunity to contemplate both the natural and the ethnographic characteristics of the mountain landscape. Hikers can stay in the emblematic local shepherd’s huts, where they can sample a range of traditional mountain products.
